Richard Ngowi has a   BA Degree in Health Administration from Mzumbe University Tanzania, and an MBA (Health Services Management) from University of Applied Sciences Neu Ulm Germany. He obtained a Joint Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Public Health from Universities of Vilnius Lithuania, Verona Italy, Deusto Spain and Corvinus Budapest Hungary in the European Union.

Mr. Ngowi has worked as a Seniour Public Health Administration and Human Resources Officer for different Public and Private Health Care Organizations. His current research interests include improving access to Maternal Health care services, Non communicable disease Epidemiology, Health Financing, Obesity, HIV/AIDS as well as Patient flow and Logistics in Hospitals.   Besides, he is a consultant in Hospital Strategic Planning, General Management as well as Health policy development.
